Southaven, Mississippi Tornado 02/05/08 Memphis

My encounter with a small tornado. This is in Southaven, Miss. just south of Memphis. At the end of the video I repeated playing the clip of the "mini-twister" which was under 200 feet away from me. The video only captures a fraction of what was really going on. The time and date on the screen ARE correct. Approx. 5:30pm on 02/05/08. This has also been mapped for those wanting to know exactly where it happened.

I was standing outside the west door at Hooters when this happened. I was showing a few girls how to spot tornados. Then someone said "like that one there", the rain began and we went inside. I have video of that too.

well i can live in colonial hills my parents are divorced so i live there sometimes anyways i live by biglots and it went in my BACKYARD! im 12 and i looked out and screamed ''MOM!!!! WERE GONNA DIE!'' lol and my mom was outside and she ran in and tripped while saying ''ITS COMMING! ITS COMMMMIIINNNGGGG!'' im like ''DANG yell why dont you!!'' lol
