the bon scoth era sold 19 million records between 5 albums.

Brians debut sold over 21m, and if u dont count back in black, then how about the razors edge and black ice? combined sold 25m. my point is bon was a great bloke and he will always be remembered, give brian his due, AC/DC would be dead and gone if it wasnt for him, if brian killed "bons" band, why are they all fucking millionaires? why are they in the top 10 best selling artists of ALL TIME?

@spudman43 I realize this is a 10 month old comment,but for the record:

Brian has NEVER stated one bad word towards Bon,he has great respect for Mr.Scott.In any interview you find on the subject,he insists Bon is and was great.

If he really had a problem with Bon,would he have continued to sing the Bon era songs live for over 30 years? I think not.

Bon is a legend,and Brian is a fantastic front man who is thankful for getting the job.

Not trying to argue,just wanted to say that.

@AcDcEcW To compare numbers from present and past is nonsensical. The WORLD POPULATION has almost doubled in the last 50 years. More people have watched TRANFORMERS 2 than "Gone with the Wind.". To say ACDC guys are now millionaires doesn´t mean that much in terms of quality of music. Just to be on the safe side, one should say they´re both talented, great singers, that you could even split ACDC´s history in "Bon Era" and "Brian Era", and that you PREFER one over the other.

@saltyluvssofas The song isnt really AC/DC's style. They like more hard hitting in your face rock n roll. This is much slower, more methodic style. It wouldn't suit them.

However, I'm a fan of both, so I think him in both bands was a great success :)

In some of the Geordie songs, you can actually hear a similarity to AC/DC. Similar guitar riffs.
