Raw and old-fashioned Black Metal from Ulver's great album "Nattens Madrigal" (Madrigal of the Night). This music doesn't need real video material. Enjoy. ;)

  • I truly believe this song captures the darkness within us all. No matter how we try to escape that looming feeling of despair it will always envelope us. This song to me is about that embrace and that raw deadly emotion that pours out when we do face the darkness.

    Ulver forever!

  • @Debilonator So you'd prefer it if bands like Dimmu Borgir tried to copy Ulver's sound? It's mentalities like yours that made Ulver quit black metal!

  • @chepe371 I'm just glad you could see the humour in my comment. I post it expecting a bunch of "Trve kvlt" black metallers acting all badass about it.

  • Could someone educate me a little here as I am fairly new to Black Metal. Is the sound quality supposed to be that horrible and tinny?

  • @Blashyrkh1993 fuck that, its all about MONO Vinyls

  • A happy tune indeed.

  • @warmachine15 can u explain more? i do agree but still confused on what u mean, i feel the same though, as if there is some spiritual link to god through this grim darkness and through sorrow u find pure truth. its like the music unlocks your 3rd eye and u tap into the source of all living, the escence of life which is eternal and undying energy.

  • If you're truly Kvlt you listen to this in 240p. Trve as fvck.

  • @seasideren I agree. But it isn't necessarily a feeling of darkness. I would argue this is the voice of God. It is the spirit that promotes each of our minds, with enough self examination, into the heavenly realms where "me" is replaced with "us". It is an audible manifestation of God's wrath toward ideas that are grounded in death in destruction.
