  • Notorious is by far the best album to me--I wish they would have Nile Rogers do another album with them or even have jimmy jam and terry lewis produce them.I will always a be a die hard Duran Duran fan til my last day on earth-but Timbaland and Just Timberlake had way too many projects and to me(this is just my personal opinion)don't fit the criteria of making the right music for the band.Although I feel Andy should be back(original fab 5)Astronaut was a great comeback album-

  • i agree 100%

  • They just don't write songs like this anymore. Everything today is acoustic and it really sounds horrible!!! Same type of lyrics and vocal styling. No soul in the music AT ALL!!

  • @saltintherainbow i wonder if warren would of gone so basic with his guitar,i was watching the big live thing etc .that man was amazing both to watch and hear.big thing has some outthere guitar and full respect to the bloke he owned it.

  • @dereka79 I rarely voice it, but I agree. I am a die-hard Duran fan through this album, but in all honesty, they lost me somewhere in the 90s. I always assume that it was a divergence of preference. But their earlier songs have a certain something that seems to be missing these days.

  • this song is all bass

  • @ taoart71 Steve Ferrone is the drummer on this number. Hes a session | freelance drummer. He was with Duran for two years, doing the Notorious album and then touring with them on the "Strange Behaviour " tour. Hes worked with many other artists, too many to mention.

  • wow, who´s the drummer, sounds very good, like vinnie colaiuta

  • Truly DD at their funkiest.

  • As for RCM, I think Timberlake and Timbaland took the money and ran. I don't think they did D2 a service, although I like the album for what it is. I don't agree that Andy should still be here. He's quit the group twice and just isn't a team player at all. Their best guitarist was Warren. Their music then had a lot of feeling and could sell. I like AYNIN. It's modern while reaching all the way back to the 80s for its comfortable and familiar feel.

  • @dereka79 Well, but I think that in Duran Duran's new album "All You Need Is Now", they took that 80s spirit and mixed it with a modern touch ... I'm sure this album is a great "back to the roots" :)

  • your pic lag is awful

  • @Belmarbadboy To one fan to another.....I agree about timbaland, I do think rcm is a good album, melody wise is really good, too bad about all the heavy beats over them.. you loose what you're supposed to be hearing.

Unfortunately, as much as I really want to, I'm not big with Astronaut. which makes me a feel bit shitty because it's the album with all of the members..the new album is great, but I wish Andy is still with them.
