Jessica, Embarrassing Bodies, Channel 4 Television, 28th January 2011.
Jessica had huge tonsils and it was decided by Doctor Pixie from the Embarrassing Bodies programme that she underwent a Tonsillectomy. Jessica's Tonsils were 3 times bigger than normal and were giving her terrible problems. Thanks to the Embarrassing Bodies team all is now fantastic.

I got my tonsils and adenoids taken out last month they were even bigger than hers. mine were almost touching, and my uvula was nearly connected with them. they were the biggest my surgeon saw. well life has been a lot better now when I can sleep peacefully ;)

I just got mine 2 days ago. I feel great already. A lot of ice cream will help. if you have pain swallowing place pressure in your ears with both hands before you swallow. That should do the trick. Cheers!

I'm getting mine out in january!!! I am so excited!! I don't even care about the pain, I'm not scared either!! I just want them out so I an start a new life with confidence!! Thank You GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
