I was lucky enough to have seen this great band live at Montreal's Old Club Soda. One of the best enjoyable shows I have ever seen.

Forsythia--funny, my husband and I had that conversation a few days ago about Billy's voice! Is it even better posthumously?
I really kick myself for not hearing him live when he was with us. He had one of the most amazing, gorgeous voices I have *ever* heard and he left us too early!
His music is his legacy, though, and through it we can remember him and we know just how very special he was. He had the "it" factor and not a lot of people have that. He was truly amazing.

Hate to sound maudlin, but the Blue Shadows music is so good, it is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Is that just because of Billy Cowsill having passed away or would I have reacted the same if he were still around? Can't decide.
