@Dortmunderstrasse Um, you brush their teeth so that they don't rot out of their heads. Cats teeth are just like ours, subject to collecting plaque, developing gingivitis, cavities, etc. Most wild animals don't live long enough for dental hygiene to really matter (plus their natural diet is better for dental health). Domestic pets have pretty long lifespans and live on canned food/kibble...they'll lose their teeth if you don't take a little care. This is just common sense.

You people are really insane! Why the hell would you brush a cat's teeth? Remember, they are cats not people! I don't see any wild animals running around with a tooth brush and a bottle of Listerine tied to their necks! Geeze, get real!

wow u make it look so easy, and ur cat is beautiful. I have 2 moggies, my younger one just lays back and lets me do it but my 3yr old who has had to have a dental b4 kicks up such a fuss, its hard work
how often do you brush them?

It's suggested to do it at least once a week, every 2 or 3 days will be better. I give them dental treats when I don't brush their teeth.
