FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WKRC) -- A local woman has another few months to decide
which five of her seven dogs must go to comply with her city's
two-animal limit. Karen Glardon says she signed an Ohio civil
rights commission settlement. She says an investigator found the city
of Fairfield did not violate her civil rights but agreed to help her get
more time. She was under a November 4th deadline. Fairfield's solicitor says the city won't take any action until February 1st. Fairfield
has a 30 year old pet regulation that limits homes to two adult
animals. The city investigated after a neighbor complained about
barking dogs. Glardon says the dogs are therapeutic for her. She has Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
