Mary Barton (who is 97 years old) sang "Bill Bailey" with the South Bay Jazz Ramblers at the 30th Annual San Diego Thanksgiving Dixieland Jazz Festival on November 29, 2009. Please note that the caption in the video saying Mary is a mere 94 is wrong -- the band leader tells me she is 97 now and will be 98 in February 2010. Musicians in the jazz band were Wally Winters, Frank Chaddock, Lee Fugal (who sang the duet with Mary), Tony Higgins, Shirley Winters, Jim Goodwin, Dick Preciado, and Fred Allee. The festival was held at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center and ran from November 25 - 29, 2009. The festival is funded in part by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts & Culture.
