Today is the 146th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's assasination by John Wilkes Booth in Ford's Theatre, and the 150th anniversary of the end of the battle at Fort Sumter. April 9th was the 146th anniversary of Lee's surrender to Grant at Appomattox Court House.

  • Just by looking at the pics, you can see that many people suffered greatly to form this nation, no matter what side they were on.

and now, just look at what we allowed people in high places to do to this country, just look at it.

I've lived in Boston all my life, and this song can bring a tear to my eye anytime. it is OUR history! all of ours.

  • @r0llskyay0 The South is in no way shape or form a "ghetto" Go to Chicago, and Detroit, then go to Atlanta, and Nashville. The cities are similar yes, then go 10 miles outside of each and see cotton fields, bean fields, and other crops, Wait, also similar right? yeah exactly, the South is a state of mind someone from the North wouldnt understand. So dont be talking smack about my home country ;)
