Activision Classics - Atlantis

Here's a game that I haven't played much in the past. I find this title to be enjoyable, however. Maybe, just maybe, Activision was trying to tell how the city of Atlantis fell?

From the manual: "Defend Atlantis! Blast Gorgon vessels before they come close enough to demolish Atlantis with a deathray. Score big and you can replace parts of the city the Gorgons have hit. The game ends when all seven of Atlantis's installations have been leveled and none are left in reserve."

My shooting skills have quite improved over the years. I had let a few ships attack the city at once, however. I had a surprise battle for this game, too.

Ahh, this is a classic game I have for Atari. This is like a way more fun version of Missile Defense. I got a really high score in this game once.
