  • what does plus and minus mean?

  • @SublordUtilax123 Minus means the bend/corner gets more tight so you need to slow down and shift to a lower gear.

Plus means the bend/corner gets more straight so you can accelerate/shift into a high gear.

  • 76ers,I often hear co-drivers saying "maybe/MB"? What does it mean ? thank you.

  • @hatrisha I not sure but I would assume if they're talking about the severity of a bend for example, then it's a bend that falls in between their standard units - like a bend that's not too tight to be a 3 yet it's not too straight to be a 4 - so more like a 3.5

Let me know if anyone has other thoughts

  • What's the minus and plus stand for in cornering? what is the difference?

  • Minus means the bend/corner gets a lot more tight around the bend so you need to slow down and shift to a lower gear.

Plus means the bend/corner gets less tight as you go around it and you can accelerate/shift into a higher gear.

  • @ShootsDenBrah Don't remember exactly... I know it's at the beginning of a couple anime dvds... Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in the Shell or something...

  • @OneShotKill3r accelerate

  • Great for the info thanks! But what does 'opens' mean?

  • what the heck is the background music from its gonna kill me lol

  • Oh man, understanding this is like Algebra 2 all over again :(

  • @76ers what about drivers that use plus/minus AND tightens/opens?

    thanks

  • @76ers

    maybe means maybe could be

the problem is the drivers/codrivers havnt driven that stage before in anger only at about 10mph so the notes are best guess so the notes would be for example s/may conts 130

    1r + > 2l

so that would be one right plus openens slippy maybe into 2l continues 130

  • Thanks for posting
