Mary Bryant - Clip 1 - You Got Us Away

"Mary Bryant" is based on real events of Mary Bryant (Romola Garai), a woman who gets caught stealing food and becomes one of the first British prisoners bound for Botany Bay, Australia. Pregnant by a jailer, Mary befriends by a smuggler named Will (Alex O'Laughlin) and is exploited by a British officer named Clarke (Jack Davenport).

I love this miniseries. I watched it when it first aired and have watched the dvd numerous times since. It is a great recount of such an important era in our history.
