i was bitten by a leech when I visited india. I didn't feel anything except minor itching. I remember how I panicked and started hitting it shoes. Leeches have strong grip n you can't kill it by squashing, it's rubbery. All I had to do was to relax n slowly walk back n sprinkle some salt over it. But who would walk for 2 minutes with a leech on his body!
