I've been listening to these guys for 2 years or so.. but I just start to ralise that the lyrics are way more serious than i thought

David Berman, the lead singer has a book of poetry out as well (Actual Air). I'd recommend it. But lots of bands (Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock and The Mountain Goats' John Darnielle to name a couple) have expressed their respect for Berman's expertly crafted lyrics. His first 3 albums deal some very heavy material, and I would say less so, on the more recent ones.

The Grey Eagle is one of my favorite venues in Asheville. A lot of videos of live shows are substandard, this one, however, was very nice. Thanks for the post.
