@smajors44 Yes, I am African American and darker skin tone than you.Dr. Katzen(plastic surgeon) recommended both products. I had Lap band surgery July 09 and a tummy tuck with Dr Katzen Oct 2010 and my incisions are thin and dark but, I believe the products have helped and I continue to use them and I'm 17 weeks post op. I've been documenting my scar therapy on my channel. Take good care :)

@vattalet36 . I have 2.5 cc in my band and have had that in for a while now. I tried 3 cc but that took me way to far over the edge. I think I am at the perfect fill position right now though.

I, too, had a case of the winter blah's.
I'm using kelo cote silicone gel available on amazon.com as well as scar away silicone gel strips. Here's to both of us being happier and more active in the coming weeks.

@girlie720 Wow. Thanks for the product share. ARe you a woman of color too? Do you have pictures of your scars? I wasnt very worried about the scarring right now since I plan to go back in for round 2, but I will be very vigilant on this next go round.
