Ths is an HD video of a Barge which has been rumoured over the years as being a war of 1812 barge but cannot confirm this to be true so we will just call it the Niagara River Frenchmans Creek Barge. It has been in many varied conditions throughout the years from being totally buried in river bottom muck to being free and clear for great visuals. This year it is about 1/2 uncovered by the river currents and other than shallow 15-20 foot on the river bank has quite a few fish and presents a nice shallow dive for maximum bottom time.
Watch and enjoy. You can also come to our web page as seen at www.feuru.com and arrange to join or dive with our group on the Niagara River.
Thanks for watching.

  • Nice job on the video and narration. It is my understanding that when this site was first discovered in the 1960's muskets and a cannon were recovered from it, leaving it to be known as the "War of 1812 wreck". Buffalo Aqua club divers were involved in the discovery, and a few that dove it in those days are still around. Thanks for sharing your video.

  • Neat Video! What kind of fish were there?
