  • I love at the end of the video when Diarmuid talks about the water in Galway. The very first time I went there that is what struck me most, was the Corrib just crashing wildly through the city. It had this energy to it. It was late Spring, so there was plenty of water coming into the Loughs off the mountains, and then funneling down and through the weir. That moment nearly 12 years ago now that I fell in love with Galway. There is a crazy sort of electricity in the city, that is addictive.

  • @dakotahblu Diarmud summed up that energy very well I think, I also like how he talked about the geology of the land and how it influences the people north and south of Galway

  • I am thinking of moving to Galway for a while, It seems to be a nice place but Iam wondering on how to deal with the cold. Iam from Brazil and in my city the avarege temp. on the winter ia around 25 degrees celcius :)

  • @Camnun the average temp in the Galway Pubs is around 25 degrees, so you should be fine :)

  • oh my god i love all your videos! this is my dream job! i love how your not just talking about the tourist attractions but how you meet locals and really get a sense of the culture and history! your series should be on tv in america!

  • thanks summerbeachh, I appreciate your positive comment
