There are two national desires at work as far as Iranians are concerned. One to get rid of present regime and move towards a secular democratic form of government. All the evidence shows that the movement is strong and unstoppable. 2nd capable to deter any potential aggressor. And boy we've had our fair share of aggressors in the past. However, its important to understand that this regime is unable to protect itself internally with nukes nor would it be able to use it unless attacked first.

The Pahlavi dynsasty was the best that happened to us, but we showed ungratefulness towards them.

Just 6 months after the mullahs took power, people realized what a huge mistake they had made and wished the Shah's regime to come back. But it was too late.
