There's a huge difference between religion and non-religion and your reasoning runs past it.
Atheism requires no faith whatsoever. Not playing football doesn't require as much speed and dexterity as doing so. It doesn't require any at all.
The "it takes as much faith" argument doesn't hold. If Dawkins or Hitchens lack evidence in something they say, they have no chain of faith or "spookies" to hide behind (the point of the vid).
"Fundamentalist Atheist"?.. You were born one.

@AfterFauve001, I along with the atheists you cited, are not asking anyone to take what we say on faith. The burden of proof is on the believer. Evidence is a crucial distinction. I am asking believers to be skeptical, to examine evidence, to use reasoning and scientific method. That is not making a 'faith chain'. Exaggerated nationalism has resulted in slaughter of millions; lack of belief in any god due to lack of evidence has not in itself had any such results.

The pastor worships a God that is only imaginary

I loved your "stand with me while I read from scripture" gig.

This is exactly what I argue to my religious friends when they claim to know/have faith in/love God. It's not God they love, it's the deluded community they are a part of that they know/have faith in/love.
Thank you Mr. Tarte for making a video I can use as 'back-up' in these instances!

"Human faith chain"... It makes me think of The Human Centipede: A sequence of people just taking in and swallowing total shit and passing it on to the next person.

Yes Mr. Tarte, you are connected to reality. And thanks to you, there are probably many people roaming that community also connected to reality. Whether or not they knew you were an atheist in the past, they no doubt knew you as a man of reason. That reason is flowering across the world right now.
Thank you!

Yes Edward, your videos certainly can lead to the path of damnation. It's well known that God hates visible light waves, and sound waves that emanate from computer monitor to my retinas and tympanic membrane, and perceived by my brain as a video. This angers God very much!!!

You are right about the faith chain and that religion is passed on by brainwashing the children. I might also add, that in history entire peoples have been forced to believe whatever their ruler believed. This alone explains the sheer number of people who are following a certain religion. So all it took was to convince some stupid kings, and the rest of his people would follow. And since religion always was an effective means to controlling people, it didn't take much to convince the king.

Thank you Mr. Tarte for providing this video. I love your reasoning. I really like the entire video, but I especially like how you phrased this --> "Human faith chain".
The former rev Jim Jones showed us how it is CLEARLY a faith chain in other people, NOT in a god! What was it 800 people who followed Jones to their death? When will people like Lyle WAKE UP from their delusion??!!
