It takes great people to put on a great event - KDBC

An all day event like the Kelowna Dragon Boat Club race held July 11 couldn't go on without the hard work and dedication of the organizers. People behind the scene, volunteers who give of their time so selflessly, often months in advance of the event. Thank You to KDBC for putting on a great event in our city.

It was amazing! And I loved that it involved all ages - the juniors started at 13 yrs and the oldest paddler was 86! Crazy!

Gosh, I really wish I could participate more in activities like that, I'm a very sporty person but I don't live near a beach or pretty lake, can't even go for a hike, just boring walks.
