  • @romas1995 It is not an offline game, it is an MMO with RPG elements. If you don't want to play an MMO, that's fine, don't play it. But if you have any sense left in your brain, you'd know that to keep a MMO running and function properly takes a lot of maintaining and staff. Why are people so dumb nowadays? Maybe you mother should've slapped you a bit more, spoiled 16yr old brats everywhere.

  • We want KOTOR 3 were we dont have to pay evey month in order to play. thats bullshit, i dont care how well made TOR is, i buy the game and then i have to pay so i can play it ? the game in greece is fucking 60 euros im not paying that much.

  • @romas1995 Agree. We KOTOR 3 and Bioware is not going to listen to the fans.

  • @nirvanatoday explain to me then, how guild wars has managed for years without monthly payments, and why guild wars 2 won't have them either?

  • @Grigeral Ah ok. So you say, customer support (bad joke, i know), bug fixing (i can't help it) and further developing don't consume a monthly fee? or maybe just call ea a money whore (big news).

and if you had been bothered to read the original comment, it was a guy who whined about monthly fees and actually bashed the game for not being how he wanted it to be (namely a mmo and not a sp). oh, and i just realized i wrote 'keep a GAME running', not servers

  • TOR was just the lame successor to Star wars: Galaxies. Its kinda funny how they shut down SWG essentially at the same time that TOR was officially released.

Every plan behind TOR was designed to cater to ignorant human scum, the whiny kind who lack any sort of creativity and innovation so they need the world narrated for them to have fun. Its so pathetic.

  • @nirvanatoday agreed. It DOES take money to keep a server running... But if you honestly think it costs '£8.99 x game subs' to run the servers, you are naieve.

I have no problem paying for MMOs and am subbed to TOR. From my point of view, the game doesn't stand out as an MMO, it stands out as a SP game with chatrooms as (at least before lvl 50) the game focuses on solo play, with occasional groups if you want.

  • @qu3ter Personally, I play TOR.

The game is good, don't get me wrong... But to me personally, it seems like a single player game with a chat room and group quests tagged on... It may seem weird, but what I mean, is that the game doesn't OFFER anything that a SP couldn't at the moment...

It's fun, but no more so than KOTOR, so it does indeed seem like they are trying to gain more money for it by making it subscription.

I say reform Black Isle and get the two back together. If only ^^

  • @romas1995 It's not well made. Don't worry, you're not missing out on anything. :\ Most of its servers are already ghost towns, not many people play anymore.

  • @nirvanatoday Not many people have money coming out of their ass like you do, also some do not agree with Bioware's greedy decision to turn Kotor into a fucking MMO. I bet that mommy and daddy give you cash to play this game, or you live in a country where the individual income is high. romas1995 is from Greece and if you would pay attention to news more often, instead of playing your shitty video games you would know that country is going through an financial crisis. In other words - fuck you!
