Have you ever thought that your condom lie is getting more people killed? It is you know. The condom propaganda is as big of a lie as the tobacco industry's lie about cigarette filters in the 50s. It is an illusion of safety to keep the modern sex industry roling w/o public rejection. The filter lie kept cigarette sales up for another 20yrs.

I dont understand why all the fuss and arguement! I work for AHF and have worked in the field for the last 10 years. Have also worked for the State in the same field. I just want to clear up one thing that was said and completely wrong. If you test HIV+ it's a done deal you are poz the rest of your life. There is no cure.If your T-cells CD4 Cells drop below 200 this means you have AIDS! Your TCells can be 1000 and you are still HIV+

Using meds is a choice. Know that they will keep you alive!

Mistersoon, NOW I understand why you're so desperate. You're HIV+, staring down the barrel of a horrible disease and early death. My sympathy. It's concerning that you say you are not HIV+, though. I sincerely HOPE you still treat your sex partners as if you have a high viral load, because that is the ONLY responsible thing to do. Remember, there are countless pricks selling 'miracle cures' that don't work. It's normal for viral loads do decrease temporarily. It DOESN'T mean you don't have HIV.

u make good points. however, in the US / being Gay, a great concern is Syphilis. HIV is not destroying T4. Syphilis & Ghonnereah can ravage immune function / cause one to test HIV+ because in US one only needs to have T4 count below 200 to be considered HIV+. There are many other ailments cause one's T4 count 2 b below 200. Its way fucked up how our Medical system is trading ethics for monetary gain. My friends who r "HIV+" & not on meds = healthy & doing better than those who are. Fear = death

Combination therapies are not proven to help immune system function. Those same therapies are responsible for liver failure and countless other complications which are listed as cause of death (misrepresented as complications of AIDS). Consider questioning; there are natural ways to restore immune health—one can get T4 count above 200 without pharmaceuticals or toxic meds. This is personal FACT. I tested hiv+ 4 years back, terrified, refused meds. Have excellent health presently & not HIV+

gee your angry. You have missed the point. Those drugs do not keep people alive. I have not blamed anyone for their HIV+ status or having AIDS. You are wrong. Was it easy for Ryan White to avoid getting AIDS? Is it easy for S.S. Africans to avoid being targeted for treatment by testing HIV+? Think about ur anger- its misdirected at me. I think you need to calm. Nobody is out to prove you wrong, this is a discussion. I am joined by many other gay men in defending ourselves from pharmaceuticals.

Mistersoon is quite confused, if his writing is any indication. HIV, contracted most often by unprotected sex with an HIV infected person with a high viral load, (as well as sharing needles with infected drug users) infiltrates the patient's immune system and destroys the ability to fight off opportunistic infections by other pathogens. Yes, syphilis is common, but it is CURABLE! AIDS is NOT. If you always use a condom, never share needles and don't cheat on your spouse, you will avoid ALL STIs.

Wow! Congratulations for COMPLETELY missing the point! I know your type: Simpering apologists who blame the same drug companies that keep AIDS patients alive for causing the problem in the first place. That's utter bullshit. If you're going to spout supercilious drivel, then at least get your facts straight. TRY to understand that it is EASY to avoid getting HIV. (Yes, it's a retroVIRUS. Look it up, and perhaps you'll understand why a vaccine is so difficult to produce)
