@AurumenK ninjutsu is hard to find because its rubbish, its not outlawed,no martial art is outlawed in america, certain sporting rulesets arent allowed in certain states. There is no competition in ninjutsu, theres no sparring at all.
-
@delxforce boxing and kickboxing are full contact punching to the face and theyre legal everywhere.MMA is the same with tiny glovesa nd elbows and on the ground.Sanshou should be allowed everywhere, its just kickboxing and wrestling combined
-
@dante967 not the japanese knock out full conact. the japanese one is in tokyo which is kyokushin kaikan and shinkyokushin kaikan and many more. the only full contact karate that in the us is Oyama and Enshin
-
Exactly. Ask California why Sanshou is illegal.
-
What's the fuss about Sanshou?Sanshou practitioners don't use bare knuckles to pelt the head.Kyukushin karate also allows throws.

Camo-mma has ruined and will ruin all martail arts in California. Ban all CAMO-MMA events.

This CSAC-DCA are jokes. They know nothing of Martial Arts. And C.A.M.O is a real joke. They have declared pankration Full Contact with no head strikes and controlled body shots with gloves. LOL at CAMO-CSAC-DCA
our japanese knockout full contact fights in alabama, we use no pads, all types of leg and knee kicks are allowed to the body and head, however we do not allow fist punched to the face, only the body. but the only way to win is by total knockout.

I think the same rules apply to CA events. Which is actually illegal for non-professionals. But since Karate is a sport in CA, no one really looks into it. Chinese San Shou is not a sport, making it illegal even when the sport it is less dangerous. Cung Le tried to make it happen but... didn't work out.

Why this is legal and San Shou is not....from what I read in wikipedia about San Shou is that punching to the face is allowed, and that at other times the rules are rather lax as far as groin, spinal, and back of the head strikes. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
World Oyama prohibits those things both in and out of tournaments. I was told that the law in CA is that bare knuckles are allowed as long as the above rules are observed, especially no face punch.

That's why I found it weird, since a full contact knee to the head is in my opinion more damaging than a gloved punch to the face (I am sure you'd agree).
Nothing against Oyama, it iseems like a great sport and I think this is the way martial art should be (for those that choose to train like this). Not the watered down point tag games.
My point is that they need to legalize Sanshou, now THAT is a great sport especially with throws.
