Digital Learning - iSchool Initiative kicks off it's Digital Learning Revolution tour at Kearns High School in Utah. All 1700 students receive an Apple iPod Touch to use in the classroom!

Travis Allen, Will Mansfield, Arvin Ross and Ken Cavallo inspire the students to embrace Digital Learning. The seminar included an educational app review showcasing the capabilities of the new handheld devices for use in the classroom.

  • @zeldafan1515 after we graduate yes

  • Dragon seems Much Better than Microsoft!

  • do they get to keep the ipods?

  • @allenopia have to say, it really is both ways. It is a great tool, with google docs and our docs to go app we can do group reports anywhere and we dont have to be together. It is so much easier to keep track of assignments and know where our grades are at..sadly this only works if students use them for the right reasons and not many do :\

  • So I want to hear how its going. Kearns High School Students, Are you using your iPod touch for fun or are you actually using it for education? Or, both? How is it really going out there?

  • @247thefish Unless you graduate. I believe because of the success of the ISchool Initiative at Kearns, this is going to be continued for a few years.
