My remake of Estress by John Frusciante from the album Smile from the Streets You Hold.
I always felt this song was about John asking for help from above. The song is very sad and emotional, but I made a somewhat happy version of it.
I changed the lyrics a bit as well as the layout of the song, but I still loved the original, I was just experimenting with something different.
Thanks
sorry about the static, Im new to recording softwares and I havent figured out how to get rid of that yet.
sweet cover man. didnt fuck it up by singing too pretty, still a bit of rawness in there. clearly your no heroine junky... :)

I need tabs for your version. This is beautiful. The little solo and the outro are absolutely brilliant.

It's a cool cover, I just can't really dig it too hard. Nothing personal, I just like the original song too much to look past your bold variation. But I do like it. Solo was great and the ending was really cool. Actually, I've been writing this comment since I started listening. my opinion has changed, I really like this. Haha.

Estress is probably my favorit song, I've been listening to JF for about 3 years, not a great time but in that time I've listen to everything I could find, and estress and elemental are my two favorit songs. They are simple and got lots of energy in them.
great cover with personal twist! nice

Lovely interpretation, not as raw as the original but great in its own way.
