James Horner wrote an amazing score for "Braveheart". He does not need my help, and I offer an apology for this invasion of his musical space. But I was so moved by the film that I really had no choice. My piece is a nod to Mr. Horner, but is really more of a tribute to Robert The Bruce, William Wallace, and to those who fought and whose blood was spilled on the fields of Bannockburn.

"In the year of our Lord 1314, patriots of Scotland, starving and out numbered, charged the fields of Bannockburn. They fought like warrior poets. They fought like Scotsmen. And won their freedom." - from the film, "Braveheart".

  • @misslecy Yeah, braveheart isnt historically very correct. Its not a documental so it's not supposed to be 100% what happened in reality. Its a bloody great movie.

  • The Bruce....our greatest ever leader to whom we will remain eternally grateful.
