Removed front end excess weight from front and added weight to rear to balance the Sukhoi. Glue from around motor the foam decorative air scoop on the bottom of the fuselage.

  • you are wery stupid

  • Modellmike,

Sorry you can not express yourself in a way that is mature or can give some insight to your feelings. When a baby crys we know it is upset and if it stinks we know it needs a diaper change. As you can see a personal attack does nothing to further whether or not you agree or disagree and why. Maybe as you age you will learn this, maybe not, only time will tell.

  • I have a heavy nose as well. I cut that piece off under the nose, moved my batter back(cut the foam) and also cut out some foam from the inside of the nose. I didn't get to removeing glue but i did remove a decent amount of foam from the inside of the nose. Basically where the motor is mounted. It doesn't need THAT much support. Tried to skimp what i could. Still, same problem. I'm going to try a washer on the tail but wish i didn't need to ADD weight...

  • It really bothers me to add weight to the tail since energy is a premium and extra weight reduces flight time. My opinion still is this is a manufacturing problem that should be addressed since it appears to be the norm not the exception. I have yet to have anyone I know purchase one that adjusting the battery position could compensate for the nose weight. I bought a replacement body to play with in the future.

  • quick little tip for balancing. set a small mirror down on table, set your balance stand on top of mirror, that way you just have to look down at the mirror to see the reflection of the wing to find the cg mark.

  • lol, plan on glueing one to the foam. thanks,

  • thanks for this video, its great, and even the music is great, it was very helpfull

  • if I cut the clue out just like you did and put some modelling clay just before the top of the rudder (not on the rudder offcourse) do you think that would help?

  • saldatura del legare

  • whats the name of the music xD

  • sorry i'm italian and i don't uderstund very well english

what do you add rear to balance model'??

  • Understood, probably something to do with this comment. Obviously, had you even googled you would have found that a huge amount of the buyers that got their day of release were having the same issue. I certainly did not invent it but was attempting to share with others that had the same issue. I am very happy for you that yours flew great out of the box. Also, I can't brag on my flying either and wouldn't if I could. Just not that type.

  • As for adding weight. Yes, removing head weight is better. As adding weight just adds more weight... which is bad.. but the amount of weight needed to change the CG isn't much, and doesn't cause any problems. The GWS5043 is also .2g lighter and also no prop spinner = less weight as well. You could move back your receiver to the back of the main wing, but I didn't want to adjust the control arm lengths. Just add a bit of weight to make this thing fly amazing, and get the GWS5043 or GWS 5030!
