Clancy and the Swing Set

This is a video taken in April or May of 2009. Clancy had not bee diagnosed with DM yet, but in retrospect he had started to show the first symptoms of nail dragging of the back feet. A few weeks prior, he was on death's doorstep, overnight in the emergency vet hospital for 8 nights. He had gotten into a huge bin of glucosamine chondroiton soft chews and it almost did his liver in. We were thrilled that he miraculously made it through, and he was just starting to have his energy back and be the same sweet crazy boy we knew and loved. Being so close to death allows us to put his DM into perspective. We're just so happy he's still alive and happy, and has had 2 years and counting of extra life after he was so close to being taken away from us.
