I want to start getting into this. I have a massive DVD collection, and I'm thinking of building a nas box out of my old computer. I want so bad to simply have a collection of my movies in one place, not on discs I gotta get up and mess with lol

The question is can Vista Media Center play BD ISO on the fly without having to mount it first as a virtual BD DRIVE?
Right now Seagate GoFlex Media player supports DVD as well BD iso! I have a ripped BD of beyond 40gb that it plays instantly. I would like to see PC Based-Boxee, PS3 or Vista Media Center does it.

@mmalique Check out Mikinho Mount Image at mikinho.com/wmc/mount-image. Install it and then add the folder with your ISO's to WMC's media libraries. Then you will see your ISO's as movies and the Mount Image add-in will handle all mounting and unmounting for you.

well...an iso should be mounted on a virtual drive and i dont think you can get that on an xbox.
you can burn the ISO and then play it...
im not to sure about the console thing though

Hey Loko... Is the same thing 4 games? or not... I'm asking...

sometimes the iso will work but if it doesnt, you may need to find a crack on line to get it to function. this applies to pc games. as for console, ps2 games work only with a mod chip=/

oh ok well yes you can play your game from an iso image=)
just follow the steps in this video but instead of opening them in media center, just play as if it were a physical disc=)
