A young boy dies due to an inexcusable practice, that could only be possible in this modern day because of one's religious beliefs.

Yes, we couldn't agree more. Both of us are circumcised as well, but certainly there is no logical reason to have it done in THIS particular fashion.

Circumcision removes the most sensitive part of a man's penis. The five most sensitive areas of the penis are on the foreskin. The transitional region from the external to the internal foreskin is the most sensitive region of the fully intact penis, and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis.

Nor is there a THEOlogical reason! Nowhere in the Torah is it mandated that the freshly circed penis be sucked. That is a perverted human addition to Genesis 17. People, baby boys are dying a horrible death from herpes. I repeat, dying. This is despicable homicide by negligence.
