Yes but the internet is becoming hostile for computers not at super speeds, and soon ours will be out of date. TV never lags. I have an old vintage black and white TV and we can get signals with no lag to this day.

I hope TV never dies in all honesty. The internet is no replacement for TV. Television has almost no lag. The internet quality always depends on our speed of computer and our internet.
