Veggie Child- should the priest who were fighting in support of the Civil Rights Movement kept quiet and simply sat praying and converting people?
If not, why not?
It seems like Priests are doing this but they are not. Catholics do not only fight abortion. If you look at the Vatican the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church have a variety of missions.
The Pro-Life movement is so publicized because the Pro-abortion movement is so publicized. (fight fire with fire...)
Protesting is the only way to fight the majority of the population....

The abortion issue is the most important issue. Its not only denying a human the right to life but denying our own humanity. Life is the foundational and fundamental of all basic human rights. If life doesn't matter, then nothing else does.
Like a house, issues have to have a foundation. The economy, the environment, fighting disease, fighting poverty and are important but life itself is.
