When you mix a uncommon swag with sharp witty lyrics you get more than a artist you get Bravo. Hailing from ENY Brooklyn's self proclaimed murder capitol. Bravo has been threw his ups & downs dealing with the music industry. Starting to write rhymes at age 12 him & his friends knew he had a gift. By age 18 he had already been threw his share of bad business fed up but never discouraged he called it quits several times, but like a true M.C. He couldn't stay away for long. Raised in poverty & on welfare by a single mother he knew the welfare checks wouldn't get him & his 2 younger sisters what they wanted so he started getting money with a childhood friend named Balla, the same one that always told him to keep rapping. Also a sunni Muslim Bravo was skeptical about making music which is against his faith. In 2000 he thought he caught his big break after a meeting with Eric Nicks former head of A&R at Violater but after a few months of chillen around the office nothing happened. In 2001 he signed a management contract with Arsenal ent. Which at the time had a R&B group signed to Queen Latifahs label Flavor Unit. But after months of recording & doing shows nothing happened. In 2002 while " doing what he do" he was arrested in Maryland, after laying up a little while he was bailed out by Balla. While traveling back & forth to Baltimore for court he would continue making music while getting money with a group of childhood friends called the D-BO gang a crew he also made music with. In early 2003 he was introduced to a friend of rapper Fabolous named Shaq. Fab had just started his streetfamily imprint & Shaq wanted to bring Bravo in but once again nothing happened. Then in late 2003 while at upscale strip club sues he ran in to Dirty Money records CEO Fendi & artist Gravy, always armed with a cd he gave it to Fendi a few Days later he got a call from Fendi & was offered a deal to be apart of Dirty Money. After dealing with the politics of the game Bravo never got his hopes up high But as time went on him & Gravy would build a strong brother like bond. They were in a Group together called the M.O.N.S.T.A.R.S which consisted of another artist M-dollars who would leave da group to join Bustas Rhymes Flipmode crew. Bravo would help with everything from shows to artistic input. He appeared on a few mixtapes but nothing more than that. After being patient & loyal for 3 years & feeling held back Bravo stepped away from the situation. He gets love from other artist he's recorded with Razah, Gravy, Jinx da Juvy, & others he got the nod from artist such as Nore, Maino, & Papoose who he spit bars with on a street corner a while back. He also works closely wit long time friend & producer Zukhits who most notably produced "Sunshine". Now with his own production company Hardbody inc. And his affiliation with the next big thing super producer Reefa, he was introduced to Reef by childhoodfriend Pretty Akee, Reef has produced for the likes of Game, "One Blood", Fab, Juelz, Beanie sigel & countless others. So far Bravo feels this is his best shot at getting the success he rightfully deserve.
