Travis Stinson's Volunteer String Band burns up the heart of Music City, USA, in this clip shot at Layla's Bluegrass Inn - Downtown Nashville - shot May 20th 2006. Ray Martin (son of Bluegrass Legend Jimmy Martin - Bill Monroe's longtime band member/co-writer) playing the custom bass Gibson presented him with, Ray Martin kicks Ass and doesn't care about taking names,., Brian Arrowood on fiddle letting us hear why he has earned the reputatiion he deserves in Bluegrass circles, Markus Stadler picking banjo and strumming as he has all over Europe and his native Munich, Germany, Travis Stinson on vocals and guitar. Travis has played at Layla's weekly for nearly six years. Find him on myspace; Travis Stinson and The Volunteer String Band. Once again the technical quality of this cut lacks and my drinking too much Tennessee sour mash whiskey didn't help anything. ENJOY these talented players.
