Jeff's debut solo single from the album, The Kingdom, is an open letter to George W. Bush and Co. It was quickly realized, though, while the director (Adrian Griffiths; http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002343/ ) and Jeff were working on the concept for the video, that any music video coming from a Canadian that criticized US foreign policy miiiiight have a little difficulty getting MTV airplay. Thus, it was conceived instead as you see it - set in '68. As should be obvious, the issues playing themselves out on the world stage today are the same; only the players have changed.

  • keşke Türk olaydı jeff martin :S

  • ps... and sorry to have made my post a rant about Detroit.

I didn't get hip to The Tea party 'til the mid/late 90s... but NOT too late to LOVE and 'get' their music! Long time fan of TTP and Jeff's solo music. Not sure where the influence came from (Dearborn? Detroit??? LoL =), but I've always just found the Middle Eastern flavor of their music to be just as delicious as the food!!

    Peace, all. =)

  • @Magyar126 I know, right?? Just an outskirt of the Mother Shit-Hole, Detroit. LoL. =)

Oh, and I'm FROM Detroit, in case anybody wants to get their feelers hurt, twist up their panties, and stomp on my balls. And yeah, I grew up MOST of my life in Oakland County and beyond.. but I've lived all over DETROIT, both sides of Woodward. *sigh..* and I miss the Detroit of old, as much as anybody who came up there during times of growth, prosperity, and the social AWESOMEness that Detroit once embodied.

  • @robmatlivingstone YOUR A FUCKING IDIOT JEFF IS INCREDIBLE

  • jeff rules

  • @robmatlivingstone i'm with you. it's kind of sad that people confuse pretentiousness with talent.

  • I don't agree with Jeff's politics, but this is one epic song that I can't stop listening to....this song is a masterpiece!! thank you for posting.

  • @robmatlivingstone Your ignorance Is A Fucking Joke!
