@kubikop whats the amps you get out of one of these cells?
@wolffallen same question, how many amps?
-
@wolffallen does brass and magnesium have a longer life than zinc and copper?

now here's an insteresting question,... is this possible with ocean water? cant we just turn the ocean into a huge battery? (insulated of course so we dont kill the marine life haha)
i ran an led for about 3 days solid off these batterys but i found that brass and magnesium is better, i got 0.68 volts from a zink nail and copper the same as in this video, but using brass and magnesium i got 1.5volts from a single cell, ive been running a clock off this for about half a month so far and its still running nice "digital"

Nice one, glad it worked for you and you also made a Magnesium battery. What did you scavenge the Magnesium out of?

They last until all the copper or all the zinc has been corroded away... quite a time....
