DR Congo's displaced people - 05 April 08

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, an estimated 400,000 people have been displaced since January.

This is despite a peace deal between the government and rebel groups.

State authority is virtually non-existent in some parts of the country, where armed gangs have a stronghold.

With rape, looting and destruction of property happening daily, villagers are too afraid to return to their homes, as Bernard Smith reports.

Millions of Congolese have died due to their wars, so when brutal rape is a fact of life, when disease is rampant, what "levels" must it reach?

Africa must heal Africa. NO amount of "aid" or help will function for the long term. Let this tragedy alone and allow them to spread this horror to the point of elimination (forever) of this psychosis! Do NOT interfere; allow this to reach levels unknown in human existence so that the lessons will be burned into the very soul of the African so as to NEVER let this pathological stupid occur ever again.

It is time the world knew that Africa must heal itself; no matter the cost!
