@folyhuck It's a B21 series an it comes with the hoe from the manufacture!!

That looked like very soft dirt he was digging in. . . . I'd like to see that machine work alittle.

I can't wait to replace my L 185! I fore see my grand children in this picture operating the BX series tractor.
-
@TheWeakness12 It might be. The tractor it's self doesn't' appear to be to old but idk. It's not a kubota orange back hoe it's a black one so .

@SuperRam3500 My neighbor used to have an old backhoe that was 2wd, but he has now upgraded to a much bigger 4wd backhoe. These tractors work in 2wd or 4wd. It is selectable.

@specialk18701 It must be an older backhoe. On my BX24, you just take out 2 pins and the whole backhoe lifts right off.

@TheWeakness12 i have heard that to but let me rephrase what i said. My Wife's Grandpa has a kubota tractor and it takes him and my father inlaw about a hour to unhook the backhoe. Now they have construction experiece which means there pretty hands with a wrench etc. but idk i looked at it and it doesn't look that hard to me. Maybe getting the holes lined up and putting it on and off the cinderblock stand it sits on idk never really put my hands on it.

@specialk18701 Kubota tractors are known for their easy to put on/ take off attachments and the backhoe does not fall short of that. I have a slightly smaller Kubota and taking the backhoe off is a breeze.
-
@Fentanyl3 yes it is a pain in the ass to un hook and re hook.

do backhoes only work with four wheel drive tractors or do ther work with two wheel drive also, i couldnt tell in this video
does the backhoe attachment connect to the 3pt hitch or mount to the frame itself? What model tractor is it anyway?

It attaches to the 3pt, but the lift arms, and center link are removed, and replaced with special fittings to make the attachment very rigid and sturdy. It comes from the factory already attached. I haven't removed it, but I suspect it would take a few hours to refit the tractor for regular use.

how deep can that thing dig?
fstwrtr 2 years ago
Effectively? About 6 feet. I think it'll technically go to 7' more or less, but it's fairly inefficient at that point.

what lever did you use to move yourself back without the bucket or jamming it into gear than back into neutral?
gregfuckingparker 2 years ago
It's a hydrostatic transmission, no gears, no clutch. Just press the pedal in the direction you want to go, and the harder you push the faster it moves all the way up to full speed. VERY VERY handy!
