@Holycannolicooking have you ever seen what happens when people who are into the health and wealth prosperity gospel come against normal trials that God is meaning to glorify and purify them? That doctrine is another form of legalism and is a descructive doctrine that hurts the body of christ and opens wounds of doubt and mistrust in God that the devil can use agaisnt them.

Korean churches in my area... do exactly what Pastor Mark tells us not to do here. It makes me sad to see some people walk right past each other because they don't go to the same church. The younger people here are more open minded though we are looking for a church that's right for us, not just one that our parents pick out.

Brother Mark has a right to rebuke Joel Osteen's preachings. Why? Because they are NOT [always] Biblical. This man is reaching the lost. He is appealing to many, many people; especially the younger generations. and in this increasingly occultish and wicked world, we need it oh so bad. God is love and He loves righteousness; and hates iniquity. He abhors those who lead His children astray. and im sorry to say, Osteen does so in great fashion. God bless.

I am shocked to hear Mark now say this when he has bad mouthed Joel Osteen. Mark needs to practice what he preaches! Joel has a different teaching style than Mark which still makes Joel a brother in Christ! I have seen it and experienced this far too often in my church attendance over the 30 years I have been going. It hurts when we are not gracious with one another. It has to stop!!!

I think Brother Marks pride can be his downfall. How hypocritical to tell others not to shoot their brother, but he sets himself as the"Bible answer man" to all other Pastors. His condescending tone toward Brother Joel Osteen shows the pride he has to see himself as being right and saying Joel is not right in his teachings. Once again as Christians we don't need the world hurting the Church, we do it to each other when the world watches this kind of arguing. Let's reach the lost. God is Love
