It's probably mostly coincidential, but the way vowels are pronounced in Japanese is very similar to how it's done in Spanish. That may be the reason it sounds similar to you... To me, not so much, but I guess that's because I'm Spanish.

It's interesting, when I continuously hear various languages like this, I'm starting to think that Japanese might be one of the language derived from Latin... which is totally wrong I know, but strangely Japanese sounds sometimes like Spanish or Italian much...

Ha ha listen to all them sexy voice actors, and I thought Kingdom Hearts II Final mix was japanese only. Or am I thinking of Kingdom Hearts I Final Mix

i like the english dubs for most of the games, i only like spanish dubs when the game takes place on renacentist or medieval time (example: Assassins creed)
