Sure we all know that the Welsh Dragon is the emblem of Wales, but how many of us know the story of her origin. Here Cynan Jones shares his version of the story as part of the National Trust's Snowdonia Appeal.

Wrth gwrs 'ma pawb yn gwbod taw emblem Cymru yw'r Ddraig Goch. Ond faint ohonom ni sy'n gwbod ei chwedl . Yn y fideo yma 'ma Cynan Jones yn rhannu ei fersiwn e o'r stori fel rhan o Apel Eryri yr Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol.

  • My grandmother's family is all Welsh, they came over to West Virginia looking for work as coal miners. Out of the 3 primary nations i am descended from i know the least about Welsh and its history and ways. This video and the other ones like it I really cherish as a way to reconnect with my lost ancestry and to be proud and mindful of where i came from. Its even cooler its in its native tongue, it really helps immerse one's self into the story/atmosphere. Cymru am byth!
