Even if it is a very light beating, it is still unacceptable to give a man that much power and control over you, especially since you cant do it back. A woman is not a child. God should punish not man. Any woman that thinks its ok for a man to hit a woman is a disgrace to her gender. And if you hit a woman even lightly for any reason other than self defense, than you are a animal

@luscioussensual I guess in this sense we can bring up abusive relationships and flip the table to how there are various men in relationships with abusive women. So if a woman hits a man other than for 'self defense' doesn't that make her an 'animal' too? Allah states in the Quran that EVEN before a man should even think about lightly tapping his wife, that he sleeps in a different bed and apart from his wife. The 'final straw' is lightly tapping her if she doens't listen, not the first.

Like you girls, i was a practicing Hijabi Bangla Muslimah. But later in my teen years when i put the "Holy Prophet" under my microscope. I saw for what he really was; a rapist ( he raped widows and captive slaves), an adulterer (he cheated on his wife frequently), a pedophile (he raped a nine year old girl), a homophobe (he ordered the castration of a dozen gay men), a misogynist (he ordered to parade UM QIRFA head throughout medina), and a whore (he had an extreme sexual appetite)

@greatape19 Your mentality reflects that of this generation and norms. To name someone all of that out of pure ignorance or just reluctance to accept Islam is very unfortunate. Trying actually reading the Quran, the translated version, and May Allah Help you. God guides those whom he pleases, the worst thing ever is if he helped guided you and YOU yourself , out of incapability to comprehend in context of the norms of that time, have let yourself gone astray.

@ecosaracen Who can write a verse equal to it? IMO the book of Mormon is more impressive than the Quran, but not neither book can compare to the Bible itself. The Quran and the Book of mormon or any other man made addition to the bible pales in comparison. I've read the quran. And its riddled with imperfections from the fleshly thoughts of a sick man. He just use a lot of the old testament to validate himself.But in the end that book is a book of nonsense and is condemned by biblical standards

@urheadonastick What is your evidence that Christ was crucified? Our evidence that he was not crucified nor that he was the son of God is the Quran.We can prove the Quran is the word ofGod, while we believe Christ received revelations from God, what you have in the Bible has been tampered with by your priests and your bishops etc. If you do not believe the Quran is the word of God, do you have anyone who can write a verse equal to it?
