We announced our self-driving car project in 2010 to make driving safer, more enjoyable, and more efficient. Having safely completed over 200,000 miles of computer-led driving, we wanted to share one of our favorite moments. Here's Steve, who joined us for a special drive on a carefully programmed route to experience being behind the wheel in a whole new way. We organized this test as a technical experiment, but we think it's also a promising look at what autonomous technology may one day deliver if rigorous technology and safety standards can be met.

This is my 2nd time watching this inspirational video. What sets me apart from another 15 yr. old is that I have FEVR an eye disease that causes me to be visually impaired. I’m blind in left eye&partially in my right. I cant play sports nor write very well, everything has to be enlarged I get through life Bcuz I know I still am ok. But what makes me sad the most is that I will loose all of my vision in 2 eyes in the next 1-7 yrs.

Mister, I enjoy it, expanding one's longevity is hardly a waste of time.
No one is immortal, we all know, but enjoying life and the healthy, but inexpensive pleasures is worth it. I don't like meat that much, either, costs too much for my tastes. When all is said and done, ask yourself, "Was my life fulfilling?" Promoting good health is fulfilling in my eyes. Some people *do* ride professionally, you know.

Ok have fun biking and wasting your time everyday. I'll live a long healthy life because I do my 30-45 minutes of daily exercise and eat proper food (I don't eat meat and rarely eat dairy) and therefore know I can take my car. Maybe you don't mind wasting your days biking for 7 hours a day but nobody else in their right mind will do it. And what then? Are you still going to bike everyday when you find work even when it's 3 hours away?
