  • I can see the moon from my window.

Does that make me a fucking astronaut?

  • Dear McCain,

I've traveled to Central America and Europe. I also speak a bit of Spanish. Please consider me for the position of Ambassador to the United Nations.

    Sincerely,

  • Wait-What?

So... she never actually said "You can see Russia from my house"! I feel so dumb. All she said was you can see Russia from Alaska and you actually can soo...

  • Nyet, for Palin!

  • @JOSH14463 You sir are incorrect. Little Diomede which is part of the united states. and Big diomede which is part of Russia.

so technically you can see Russia from US soil.

But you can alaso see Russia from Alaska.

if you stand on high ground on the tip of St. Lawrence Island—a larger Alaskan island in the Bering Sea, southwest of the Diomedes—you can see the Russian mainland, about 37 miles away.

  • can't believe she actually said that...

  • I dont know what the big deal is about this. There are parts of Russia that are visible from Alaska. Im not a Palin supporter but this is just stupid. No reason to insult her here. She was the Governor of Alaska, she knows more about that state than anyone posting on this video.

  • @JOSH14463 I'm sure you can. Nobody's denying that you can. What's idiotic about her statement is that that doesn't make her qualified to handle relations with the Russians, and she thinks it does.

  • you can realy see russia from alaska if you stand on alaska's west coast u can see the Diomede Islands whitch are a part of russia and two miles behind them is the actual country of russia.

  • Is it possible that she could've been figuritivly speaking?

  • but you CAN see Russia from ALASKA which is also in AMERICA
