This is my buddy OT45 flying a glider I was gifted at one of our club meetings. I wrecked my previous FPV plane (The Reactor Biplane) so this will be the new plane. I used the old motor from the Reactor bipe (Rimfire 35-36-1200kv) with an 11x7 propeller. I used an Electrifly 45 amp speed control and a Turnigy 2200mAh 3s 11.1v battery pack. The motor mount is custom made out of 4 sheets of light ply with around 3-5 degrees incidence. It needs a bit more inclination as it still pulls down just a little when you apply power but it sure beats a hi-start type launch.
The plane has less than favorable colors on it for high altitude visibility so I might strip the covering off the bottom of the wings and liven it up a little bit.
I am currently in the process of installing the FPV equipment and building a custom canopy to house all of the equipment.
@flyby8906 That's cool, you love the twins huh? How's your jet going man? It's kind of vanished of the radar? I really want to see that badboy go (as do you I bet). As for the 900Mhz Rx, I know of someone else who might want it so I'll try there (The pilot for this video.. he's kinda of iffy on FPV tho).
