Quelle belle chanson , qui nous fait réfléchir mais de nos jours il n' y a plus de chansons qui nous remettent en question , surtout avec cette cinquième génération de musique congolaise

@Mzitoz Where did you get this translation if you do not understand this beautiful language? I have searched toe and nail and found no website that teaches Lingala. However, if this can be of nay help to you, go to FreeLang Dictionary on the web and you find some translations from Lingala to English and to French. Be aware the ear hears words differently from what words are actually sung. It would be good if Lingala speaking persons put in more words in the FreeLang Dictionary.
Good luck

In short. He's singing about death and life as well « Mokolo nakokufa nani akolela ngai ? »= When I die who will cry for me ? I don’t know how and when so let me cry now, if I’m poor I’ll miss my wife and my kids, if I’m rich I’ll be thinking about my belongings, money and my kids I sent abroad to study, if I enjoy drinking, I’ll miss the end of month when I get money and can enjoy life with my friends, if I’m a prostitute, I’ll miss my wig, clothes and African Fiesta»

Great sounds and arrangement. Classic and timeless musique!
On which note I say: I have always wanted to know what these guys say in their music. I just listen and enjoy without understanding! Strange? Yeah and that's why I am asking: anyone know a website where I can learn this great language so that I can continue enjoying while understanding?
Please let me know.
