Avant ce jour, je repoussais facilement un ami si sa religion était différente de la mienne. Mais aujourd'hui, mon cœur accepte toute forme; il est devenu un pâturage pour les gazelles, un couvent pour les moines, un temple pour les idoles, une Kaâba pour les pèlerins, des Tables de la Torah et un livre du Coran.
Ma religion est maintenant l'Amour; Partout où il me mènera, l'Amour est ma religion et ma foi.

****************************************************************Moheïddine Ibn Arabî (محي الدين ابن عربي), ou Mohyiddîn Abu Bakr Mohammad Ibn Alî 'Ibn Arabî al-Hâtimî, plus connu sous son seul nom de Ibn Arabî, est né le 27 Ramadan 560 de l'Hégire (7 août 1165, Murcie dans le pays d'al-Andalûs - 1240, Damas). Appelé aussi « Cheikh al-Akbar » (« le plus grand maître », en arabe), il est un mystique, auteur de 846 ouvrages. Certains considèrent que son œuvre aurait influencé Dante[1], voire Jean de la Croix[2], en tout cas les comparent. Dans ses poèmes il traite de l'amour, de la passion, de la beauté et de l'absence. Ne pas le confondre avec Abu Bakr Ibn al-Arabi.

The religion is such a complex and sensitive subject as it relates to believing in non-material world.. whether religion is love or love is part of the religion, this can be debatable but at the end of the day, "God created us as different genders and people to know and to love each other, the best among us are those who have deep respect of the creator". Having lived for years in the west, I have seen extreme views on both sides (east and west) and only love can bring the hearts together.
