Ellen Urges Californians to Vote No on Prop. 8

I too am a huge Ellen fan. I hope and pray that one day she too gets what all homosexuals want and deserve, a heaping helping of Aids.

I am a big fan of Ellen.
I would be the last person to deny her the opportunity to marry.
My concern is with the raising of children and adoption.
If for example Gays could adopt, what would then stop single people doing the same given there is no biologigal component in the selection of possible parents.

My argument is...
1. Marriage was formed by religion and it is disrespectful to religion to have to gay people married.
2. This country was also founded on the basis of religion and if people dont believe it fine but dont reuin it for those who do.
3. Everyone has the right to be married it just has to be between a man and a woman, the rule is the same for everyone so gays arent being discriminated against.

4. This coutry also gives everyone the right to leave if they hate the rules of religion so bad.

5. For the most part people vote yes on prop 8 because the think that marriage not because they dislike gays but because marriage was founded by religion and since it was founded by them should have the right to use it the way they designed it.

haha if everyone was gay neither me o you would be around so ya how awful.

you could say that about anything to the extreme: if everyone was male or female, if everyone was a priest or a nun. its a lousy argument

And the problem with that would be...? More gay people? Oh, to think! How awful... *eyeroll*
