Experiment: How does a jack-heavy list fair against an MKI-style Infantry swarm? So, I took a Jeremiah Kraye list in which more than half my points were for Jacks (4 lights and 1 heavy) up against a Protectorate Infantry list that was lead by the Harbinger of Menoth. One point of significance: this is the same list that went 4-0 and came in third place at the SoCal Smackdown nearly a month and a half ago.

  • hey, for the base colour for cygnar what colour do u use? is it metallic blue?

  • @Tokekswt Back then I mixed up a glaze using GW Blue Ink and Regal Blue and then I washed that over Boltgun Metal to get that effect.

  • Harby with no little dudes on her base? Good 2 know I'm not the only one. That caster is a pain to assemble! Gotta love those zealots!

  • Tom wants to master Wet Blending, and Two-Brush blending before he paints the Harbinger. So, the extra dudes are stashed away, because they'll have to be painted separately.

  • note to self. Always have a screening unit in front of your warcaster when playing against a kraye list. I thought the charge range on Satyxis were good when they had the UA and were being forced by a raider captain, but 15" on a warjack charge is just insane.

  • warmachine is way better than warhammer 40k!

  • You guys should do another video like this now that all the rules are set in stone, and not in a field test. Infantry machine is not quite dead.

  • Should've tried a exemplar infantry army. That's what I've used and done well. Especially since I'm a relatively new player. But I suppose that I flip the bill on versatility for an army with (almost all) weapon master.

  • hey hey i know how to face swarmer armies well wait these tactics are for 40k srry

  • Not really...

  • As a Trollblood player that really enjoys fielding Hoarluk Doomshaper, I can say he isn't actually that good... If you know his weak points. You see, he emphasises on the aspects that the trolls do NOT have... Speed and defence... This is why I prefer his non-epic version. Full out fury emphasising even further on the points at which the Trolls are already good at, putting outstanding damage on just about every enemy on the board!

...As soon as you get the charge, that is. =P

  • that looks like a lot more than 50 points
